EnValue and MSE Solar have sold a majority stake in their subsidiary, Parco Solare Friulano 2, to A2A after recently obtaining authorization for the construction and operation of a photovoltaic plant in the municipalities of Santa Maria la Longa and Pavia di Udine (UD), Italy, with an authorized capacity of 112.1 MWp.

The project currently represents the largest photovoltaic development in northern Italy. A2A is currently constructing another photovoltaic plant in the same municipalities with a capacity of 59.1 MWp. With over 150 MWp installed in total, the two projects will represent the main photovoltaic hub in northern Italy.

The joint infrastructure will produce a total of more than 210 GWh per year, meeting the electricity needs of more than 75,000 households, reducing natural gas consumption by approximately 40 million cubic meters, and avoiding the emission of approximately 90,000 tonnes of CO2.

The construction of the plant will continue to be managed by EnValue and MSE Solar, acting through EnValue Italia as the EPC contractor.
